For the UN Eradication of Poverty day 2023, Doras Buí created a space where the people from the community could come together and support each other during this harsh period of crisis; while using their creativity and skills they created a short movie that would represent their stories.

A group of amazing women from Doras Bui’s community came together in strength to raise their voices and as a result “The Broken Compass” came to life. A short film by Doras Buí’s participants about Ireland’s Economical Crisis.

On the 9^th of November 2023 we carried out the presentation event, where the movie “The Broken Compass” was premiered, and the results of the project were shared with the rest of the community.
